Our Plants

One integrated chain, three specialised units

Strategically located across Faridabad Sector 25 and Sector 59 — raw bar goes in, a finished, ready-to-assemble component comes out.

01 · Bright Bar Unit

Where dimensionally accurate raw material begins

Converts hot-rolled steel bars into precision-finished bright bars through peeling, turning and polishing processes.

This unit supplies dimensionally accurate, defect-free raw material that feeds directly into SSI's own forging operations — as well as external customers who need bright bar stock on its own.

02 · Forging Unit

The core of SSI's manufacturing capability

Equipped with 1000T, 400T and 100T presses alongside 1T, 2T and 3T hammers, this unit produces closed-die forgings across a wide range of sizes and tolerances.

It forms the structural backbone components used across automotive, industrial, and — increasingly — oil & gas applications, at a capacity of 10,000 tonnes per annum.

03 · Machining Unit

Closing the loop — from rough forging to finished part

Transforms rough forgings into fully finished, ready-to-assemble components on 22 CNC turning centres and 6 VMCs.

This unit closes the loop on SSI's vertically integrated model — from raw bar to finished machined part — allowing SSI to deliver complete components rather than just forged blanks, a key differentiator when bidding for higher-value contracts.

Why It Matters

One accountable chain, not three separate vendors

Sourcing bright bar, forging and machining from a single, vertically integrated manufacturer means fewer handoffs, tighter tolerances and one point of accountability for quality and delivery — from raw material to finished, ready-to-assemble part.
